How to be a Gemini
Wether or not you believe the position of the planets has any affect on your personality or not, if you were born between the dates May 21st to June 19th you've probably been told once or twice that people think you're crazy. You're not alone! Us geminis are an extremely unique breed (at least we think we are) and can sometimes find it hard to act like "normal" people.So here are 5 tips to being a Gemini without getting institutionalized ;)
1. Talk it out!
Gemini is an air sign which means we're all about mental energy and communication, thoughts, ideas and concepts. So one of the worst things you could do is keep it all bottled up and not talk about what going on in your head. Geminis love talking and it helps them to work through their problems.
2. Take a break, would you!
Geminis are known for their high energy and enthusiastic personalities, but you can't be ON all the time. If you try to be a super hero and do everything all the time you will burn out. So just ride on the manic high while you can, but then take a break and let your brain and your body rest once in a while.
3. Put yourself to good use!
There is nothing worse than a bored gemini. That is how the most amount of rumors, fires, wars, and unnecisary love affairs get started. Geminis are extremely creative, inquisitive, meticulous, and passionate, and in the words of Spiderman "With great power comes great responsibility." If you are not using your super powers for good, they will overpower you and bring about your untimely demise (or that of others, very possibly). To avoid the charateristic unsightly gossiping, nosiness, infidelity, wrath, vengance, snide criticism, and general douchyness, learn a new skill instead. Especially one using your hands. Perfecting your craft will give you more to obsess about instead of starting drama with others for malicious amusement.
4. SFTU sometimes
I know I said in number 1 that it's good for you to talk and it is. But there is a grain of truth to the widespread assumption that sometimes, amazingly, geminis talk a lot. It's totally okay that that's who you are and that you enjoy it so much, but it's not always the right time. Learn to gauge your surroundings, the context of a conversation and the reaction of the person you are talking to. Not everyone can handle your intensity. Consider the task of analyzing body language as a new area of study, that will make you that much more bad ass.
5. You ARE awesome... but stay humble.
Geminis tend to think they as a species are pretty amazing: they are talented, charismatic, funny, and energetic. Those are all great attributes but sometimes we tend to have selective vision. We have loads of characteristic faults too, which we might not consider so important but to the other signs of the zodiac could be very very important. That is why it's important that the other signs are out there to keep the world running and be a bit more stable. And it's a good thing they do, too, because they give you time to shine, amirite?
